The raw essence of the seascape and the swell of the ocean are the inspiration behind this piece. Navy Blue Lines Curve uses organic curved blue stripes painted by hand to play with the abstract idea of the composition of the Australian landscape and sea. Each Line represents an ocean swell with the width and spacing of the lines giving depth to the piece as they bulge, almost touching to create an incredibly graphic yet calming effect.
Framing includes a high quality, custom made, wooden grain frame in black, white or raw oak with an elegant deep bevel. The depth or frame measurement off the wall is 70 mm, and the face is 20 mm.
UV perspex is used directly on the archival print to protect the limited edition art work. Each print has a white border of extra cotton rag paper around the print for framing. This border will be visible once framed. The prints can be hung vertically or horizontally depending on your personal requirements.
Please note that all art should not be exposed to direct sunlight. The UV perspex should be lightly dusted with a soft cloth. Using products such as Windex and glass cleaner is not advisable, a specific perspex cleaner should only be used if required.
