A celebration of one of the world’s oldest pigments. Dating as far back as 40,000 years in prehistoric cave paintings. Indian Red made from natural oxides in red earth from the red laterite soil in India. A very potent and strong pigment. Sitting on a complementary picture plane of muted olive greens. Parts of the abstract artwork full of texture showing the tangible properties of this fabulous pigment.
This artwork is available as a one off original piece or as a limited edition giclee print. The original artwork is painted with oils on Italian linen and framed in raw oak. The limited edition giclee print is available in a range of sizes and framing options and limited to 50 editions.
