What is a Giclee Art Print?

A giclee art print is produced using inkjet printing. We use the highest quality of printing and the finest archival acid free products to ensure your art’s integrity is maintained. 

Besides its original association with Iris prints, the word giclée has come to be associated with other types of inkjet printing including processes that use fade-resistant, archival inks (pigment-based), and archival substrates primarily produced on Canon, Epson, HP and other large-format printers. These printers use the CMYK colour process. This increases the apparent resolution and color gamut and allows smoother gradient transitions. A wide variety of substrates is available, including various textures and finishes such as matte photo paper, watercolor paper, cotton canvas, or artist textured vinyl.

What is a limited edition?

The artist Tory Burke produces only one oil painting of a particular design.  We produce only a  limited number of  prints for each piece of art.

Please refer to each individual piece of work to see the limited number of prints.

Note, each print will be registered with Studio Elwood and uniquely signed by the artist and numbered to preserve the limited edition nature.

Why do I need an account with Studio Elwood?

It also makes the ordering process easier and faster as your information is stored on our secure servers! You can even look up previous orders to check which items you purchased last time.

What is the minimum order?

The minimum order is one (1) print for each product. However if you order more the shipping will most likely be more cost effective.  Please contact us for more information on minimum orders for wholesale prices.

SHIPPING & POSTAGE

How will I know when my order ships?

When your order ships, we will e-mail you a Shipping Confirmation. If tracking service is available, we include the Tracking or Airway Bill number in your Shipping Confirmation e-mail (if you do not receive a tracking or Airway Bill, then tracking service is not available for your package).Note that orders are shipped/delivered only Monday –Friday. Delivery estimates do not include weekends.

How is my order packaged?

The quality of your shipment is our priority and the materials we use to package our products reflect our commitment. 

All our prints are rolled with protective wrapping paper and packaged in a secure cardboard tube.

Do your postage charges include insurance?

Our postage charges include insurance cover for domestic purchases only.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order leaves our location, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number in it.

Do you ship overseas?

We ship almost everywhere in the world! For all international orders please contact us directly to determine if we can ship to your country. 

If so, we will provide a quote for shipping costs to your country.

Can my order be delivered to a PO Box?

We are unable to deliver to a P.O. Box. Please ensure that you specify a valid residential or business address during check out.

How can I pay for my purchase?

Is paying online safe?

Protecting your private data is our highest priority.

We provide high-level protection through SSL, short for Secure Sockets Layer. This advanced cryptographic system is designed to encrypt private data so that it can be transmitted safely and securely over the Internet. SSL is the approved standard of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). Our security system also meets the rigorous security requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). As part of the order process, iCanvas will ask for your name, shipping/billing address, email, phone number, and your credit/debit (or other payment type) information. This information will only be used for the purchase transaction and will never be given out to other businesses.

Can I leave the product in the cart and come back later?

Yes. Meanwhile we will make sure it stays in the cart.

Can I order the art piece in a custom size?

Unfortunately, we do not offer custom sizes for our products. Each product page contains the sizing options for a specific product.  However do contact us and tell us about your exciting project and we can offer our art expertise and experience.

FRAMING

What if I want my print framed?

It is possible to arrange framing of your new print.

Please indicate this at the time of purchasing through our web based shop.
